Cabin Counselor/Activity Specialist - You will live in the cabin with the campers. You will work out with the campers and participate in all activities with them in addition to running your area when needed. When the activities begin you will report to your area for the day. You will instruct campers of all ages at various levels. During some activity periods you may be traveling with your cabin instead of instructing.

We prefer applicants who have experience working with kids. To qualify as a counselor you should have great listening and communication skills, dedication, patience, impartiality, and be able to relate to the campers and be a role model. As a specialist you should have experience coaching or teaching in your specialty area and be able to provide guidance and enthusiasm.

Group Leaders - Each division of 3 to 4 cabins is led by a group leader. The group leader is a liaison between the division and head staff and are fully involved with all campers in their division. They attend daily meetings with head staff and deliver the daily activities and information to the counselors and campers. During the day they travel with the cabins as well. Group leaders live in the cabins and are responsible for setting a motivating, positive tone for campers and staff. They help campers and staff with various issues and maintain communication with everyone. Generally, a group leader has past experience as a counselor or teacher and can multi-task in a group setting.
