"Working as a counselor in Camp Shane was one of the most meaningful summer jobs I've ever had. One of the best things I've experienced was doing activities with the kids. I worked at the waterfront and we had a lot of fun being there. It was great to watch the kids getting more and more confident about them selves. Camp Shane became a home for me for these 12 weeks and the other staff members I met became a family. As an international staff member myself, it was fantastic to meet so many people from all over the world, who like to work for the same reason- the kids.
